Morning .... a visual discussion of a range of design work related to textile design and basic design theory and show how and why they work....then two exercises on basic design formats and options and reasons for choosing those options then a social break and...Lunch!

Afternoon .... explore colour in textile design and also show work at the end of this session. Discuss various design decisions. Two exercises in colour using colour theory to make informed decisions when creating work for clients or self.

Sunday: Explore all you have learnt on the previous day. Continue and make another scarf design. David will be assisted by Lizzie Bracegirdle so that you will not have difficulty handling materials and can focus on completing two designs to take home.
